8 Day Customized Vacation to Colombia

South America > Colombia

Colombia sits at the junction of Central and South America—a location symbolic both of the nation’s cultural and geographic confluences.

Its territory is bordered to the north by the Caribbean Sea, with the Panamanian forest and Pacific coast marking its east. In the west, you’ll find the grasslands of Venezuela and Amazon Basin of Brazil.

Flanking the plaza are the Palace of Justice and the National Capitol, which bear traces of renaissance and neoclassical lineage. Next stop, visit the Museo del Oro. The collection includes more than 34,000 pre-Columbian gold objects and another 20,000 stone, ceramic, textile, and precious stone artifacts. Last, visit Monserrate.
